Pennsylvanians deserve the best representation possible in all levels of their government. Comprehensive reform of ethics, lobbying, campaign finance, elections and enforcement laws are long overdue. Few of our current elected officials are committed to comprehensive reform. Clean Money Squad PA (CMS-PA) is established to identify Pennsylvania office holders and candidates for elective office that are serious about changing our broken system of government.
To qualify as a CMS-PA member, candidates and office holders must formally endorse and commit to actively fight for passage of The American Anti-Corruption Act (the Act) and its provisions at the local, state and federal levels of government. CMS-PA is strictly non-partisan. All office holders and qualified candidates for elective office in Pennsylvania, regardless of political affiliation, are encouraged to endorse the Act.
Candidates and office holders who formally endorse the Act will be included, with their contact information, in the CMS-PA website, social media, press and broadcast media communications. Inclusion on the CMS-PA website and communications does not constitute endorsement of any candidate or office holder by CMS-PA, it is an acknowledgment that the candidate or office holder formally endorses the Act.
Common Cause has a goal similar to that of CMS-PA. Please go to Democracy2018.org to learn more.
Clean Money Squad PA is a non-partisan, non-profit IRS 501c(4) organization.
